We all know computer games can be exhilarating and fun, but... What's better than sitting around the table with family and friends, playing an exciting bike-racing board game that offers big losses and even bigger wins, daring escapes from the peloton, crosswinds, searing sprints, grinding climbs and death-defying descends? No bugs, no computer crashes, no patches, no server issues, and no need to replace obsolete processors or broken soundcards.

Oops! We lied. There is no board, at least not until you create one out of no less than 45 landscape tiles. Please check out the photos.
With Tour du Jour you can organize one-day classics or your own multi-stage tour! Use a single racer or a team consisting of four (or less) members. Whether you enjoy racing through hills or mountains, cobblestones or coastal roads, Tour du Jour has it all. Find out how your team holds up under the onslaught of the gruesome secteurs pavés of Mons-en-Pévè or Trousee d'Arenberg and brutal côtes such as the Kapelmuur and Oude Kwaremont.
Prefer long or short or flat stages? It's all up to you. Mountain top finishes? Check out the tiles for 3 infamous climbs: L'Alpe d'Huez (France), Alto de l'Angliru (Spain), and Plan di Montecampione (Italy). Rain? Snow? Got it covered. Labyrinthine, narrow city streets, complete with 90 degree turns, nasty road furniture that pops up unexpectedly? Tour du Jour has that as well. There's no end to the possible configurations. Check out the photo of our Liege - Bastogne - Liege layout. This versatile game contains enough tiles to construct any type of route and blast off!
42 landscape tiles 6 x 6 cm (2.4 x 2.4 inches), and 3 larger mountain finishes measure 6 x 15 cm (2.4" x 5.9"). The tiles have different values, depending on the difficulty of the terrain.
Also included are 40 chance cards, some containing good luck, others quite the opposite, some even fining you for violating official UCI regulations, as well as 4 differently colored teams, each consisting of 4 racers; play money in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Florins; a 20-sided die, and detailed instructions on how to play the game, and various work- and classification sheets, such as Points, KOM, Team, and General Classification.
The game comes in a sturdy wooden box with a sliding lid, measuring approximately 7 3/4" x 4" x 3 1/4" (20 x 10 x 8 cm). Less expensive box, more game!
Please note tiles used to represent stages in the Tour, the Giro, Tireno Adriatico are not part of the regular Tour du Jour tiles.
